What Working Together Looks Like

We'll figure this out together.

Therapy is not about me telling you what to do or assuming I already know the answer. We will slow things down, look closely at what is happening, and ask the questions that help the pieces begin to fit together.

We may explore what triggered a reaction, what thoughts or fears are driving it, where a pattern may have started, and whether it is still helping you now. I will offer ideas, point out connections, and sometimes challenge you, but I will always check whether what we are discussing feels accurate and useful to you.

Understanding yourself is important, but insight alone is not always enough. We will also think practically about what you could try, what you might say, and how you want to respond differently in your day-to-day life. Change does not have to happen perfectly or all at once. Trying something new—even imperfectly—counts.

Over time, the goal is for this way of working through things to become your own. You may begin noticing patterns sooner, questioning old assumptions, tolerating difficult feelings more effectively, and making choices that fit who you are rather than what you fear other people may think.

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong or what needs to change.

We’ll start with what feels difficult right now and figure it out together.
